Amy is a psychotherapist who believes that everyone has the capacity for healing, growth, recovery and joy. She encourages clients to show up with authenticity, to be welcomed into a safe, non-judgmental space where they will be seen, heard, and empowered.

Inclusive and affirming in her work, Amy welcomes adults, older adults, and couples of all identities and backgrounds into her practice, seeing clients with a wide range of unique challenges and goals. While she specializes in addiction treatment and recovery, she is experienced and active in treating depression, anxiety, grief and loss, ADHD, low self-esteem, and relational issues.

She takes a strengths-based, collaborative approach, drawing from CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing, psychodynamic and solution-focused therapies. Her work is informed by curiosity, clinical and lived experience, and grounded in ways most meaningful to client success. Her style is down-to-earth, supportive, authentic, and occasionally infused with humor, because sometimes, laughter really is the best medicine.

Amy received her BA in Sociology from Central Connecticut State University and her Masters of Social Work (MSW) from Westfield State University.
