Advance Psychotherapy Practice (APP) was established in 2019 with the mission of bringing together a group of dynamic therapists to serve the greater Amherst area. Our goal was to provide a diverse array of treatment modalities for clients of all ages, from infants to elders, utilizing research-based approaches such as Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).

In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, we experienced significant growth, expanding our team to over 60 therapists by 2025. This diverse group specializes in various areas of mental health practice, allowing us to meet a wide range of client needs and ensuring that we can provide effective, tailored treatment. This diversity is a key factor in what makes us great; it enriches our collaborative environment and enhances the quality of care we offer.

We are proud to operate from over four brick-and-mortar locations throughout Western Massachusetts, making our services accessible to more individuals in the community. Additionally, we provide virtual therapy options across the Commonwealth, ensuring that even those in remote areas can access our support.
