Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) and Answers

  • A: Individual, family, couples, and group therapy. At this time we do not offer medication management as we do not have a psychiatrist on staff. We offer in-person and virtual appointments.

  • A: Services can be provided only to people who reside within a state or territory that a provider is licensed or legally permitted in. Some providers may be licensed or legally permitted in more than one state or territory. If you live outside of Massachusetts, and we accept your insurance, you can receive in-person services.

  • A: Please fill out the form found at the “Become a Client” link. After we receive the form, we will follow up with you as soon as we can.

  • A: It has become increasingly known that, in general, there is a high demand for mental health services and not enough workers to meet the demand. Unfortunately, we are not the exception. We do have a waitlist and prioritize meeting the needs of all who are on it as soon as we can.

  • A: After we receive your information, we may or may not follow up with additional questions related to insurance verification, therapist requests, etc. We cannot say for certain how long it will take for a therapist to have an opening to begin meeting with you. We are currently expanding our clinical team to meet the high demand for services. Minimum waitlist times, however, can be found in bolded here.

    Please note: due to licensure, not all clinicians are credentialed with all insurances. Please provide your insurance information on the “Become a Client” form so we can verify your insurance and identify which clinicians accept it.

  • A: Yes, the rates vary based on circumstance. There is paperwork to be completed to determine eligibility for the sliding scale. You can further discuss with your clinician.

  • A: Payment may be taken anywhere between the day of or by the end of the week of each scheduled appointment. Every client’s payment due varies based on copay, deductible, etc.
