Christine believes that therapy is a process of uncovering and strengthening your own wisdom and resilience, within the context of a trustworthy, warm, and skillful relationship. Her goal is to support you to feel greater safety, self worth, regulation, collaboration, and alignment as you navigate life. She brings a broadly defined trauma-informed perspective, recognizing that we all carry adaptations to painful and difficult experiences. These internal patterns can be limiting and conflict with our goals for life, even though they may have also been valuable or even essential. Together, we work to find compassionate space for all parts of yourself, developing the capacity to feel grounded in your sense of wellbeing, your values, and your positive connections with others.

In addition to being a therapist, Christine is an artist, parent, and naturalist. She has studied and taught mindfulness/compassion practices for over ten years, and she brings these practices to the therapeutic relationship, along with warmth and humor. She pays attention to the many ways that social oppression and alienation from the natural world impact individuals and relationships, and she supports emotional, spiritual, cognitive, relational, and artistic approaches to individual and collective healing.

Christine enlists mindful, somatic, Internal Family Systems based, experiential, and attachment informed practices, drawing on other modalities as needed. Areas of speciality include depression, anxiety, grief, self-worth, parenting, existential and spiritual questioning, and major life changes.
