Advance Psychotherapy Practice (APP) is an ever-growing and evolving group psychotherapy practice serving clients in Amherst, Hadley, South-wick, and remotely statewide. Founded in 2019, APP brought together a group of dynamic psychotherapists together to provide a wide range of treatment modalities. We are able to provide mental health treatment to all age ranges - from young children to elders, and use the latest research-based treatments such as Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and the Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics. All of our therapists have undergone training as part of their individual practices in order to provide treatment to clients with measurable results..
The Client Billing Specialist is responsible for billing clients to ensure timely submission, accuracy, monitoring claims, looking into rejections or denial claims, documenting related account activities, following up with clients balance and posting adjustments. They will also be responsible for Insurance billing, insurance verification, credentialing, collecting co-payments and following up on claims denial and rejections. Some background knowledge of Simple Practice ( Billing and EHR platform) CAQH and CANS is a plus but not needed.
Responsibilities:
Check client balances, insurance, deductibles and review any credits/refund issues
Generate invoices for clients
check eligibility- in and out network, health or psychotherapy-outpatient
Correct Co-pay amount/email client invoice about any changes
Make sure sessions occurred and not a no show
Check CPT code, modifier and make sure to have the correct provider
Utilize software tools to manage workflow
Maintain good relations with affiliate with APP, acting as a team
Maintain compliance with the State
Run daily appointment status report from previous day
Run end of month appointment status report for month
Make sure client DOS is in Simple Practice, create chart in SP
Support APP management team by timely completion of task
Manage punctual attendance by avoiding unscheduled time off
Maintain client confidentiality and follow guidelines of HIPAA.
Follow established Practice policies and procedures by maintaining professional appearance, representing the company in a positive manner.
