Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference." This quote captures the heart of Aliya’s approach to therapy—helping people recognize what’s within their control, let go of what’s not, and build a life that feels more aligned, intentional, and fulfilling.
Aliya works from a collaborative, compassionate lens and draws from a cognitive behavioral framework to help clients understand the connections between their thoughts, feelings, and actions. She believes in exploring the stories we tell ourselves—often shaped by early experiences, relationships, and culture—and supporting clients in rewriting the ones that no longer serve them. Her style is warm, curious, and supportive of real change.
She has experience working with anxiety, ADHD, depression, life transitions, and self-esteem challenges. Aliya also brings a trauma-informed perspective to her work, understanding that each person’s life story is complex and unique—and that healing often involves making sense of those deeper layers in a safe, nonjudgmental space.
Aliya earned her Master’s in Social Work from Springfield College and has worked with clients in school settings, college counseling, and outpatient therapy. She’s passionate about helping people break patterns that keep them stuck, reconnect with their strengths, and move forward with more clarity and confidence.
