Tzofiya is a psychotherapist based in Massachusetts. She earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Muhlenberg College and her Master of Social Work from Springfield College. She specializes in working with adolescents, college students, and adults navigating challenges related to relationships, life transitions, school, work, body image, and self-esteem. Her clinical focus includes depression, adhd, anxiety, trauma, and relational issues.
Tzofiya believes that a strong therapeutic relationship is the foundation of effective psychotherapy. She works collaboratively with clients to better understand the roots of their behavior and gently explore underlying dynamics contributing to distress. Her goal is to help clients reduce symptoms and find greater fulfillment and freedom in their lives.
Her approach is informed by experience in community mental health and grounded in modalities like Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Humanistic therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Tzofiya tailors her work to each individual, aiming not just to manage symptoms, but to foster meaningful change. Clients often appreciate Tzofiya’s ability to bring warmth and, when appropriate, a sense of humor to sessions, helping to create a comfortable and supportive environment.
