Alma is a clinical social worker who uses strengths-based, trauma-informed, collaborative approaches in her practice. She works to create accessible spaces for all neurotypes and enthusiastically invites you to share what will help you access therapy, such as pre-appointment communication, typing instead of speaking, and adjustments to the environment for your sensory needs.

Alma actively engages with anti-racist, anti-ableist, neuro-affirming, LGBTQIA+-affirming, and critical disability studies frameworks. She welcomes people from all walks of life and is particularly aligned with adolescents and young adults, Autistic and neurodivergent folks, and people with marginalized gender and sexual identities. Alma uses biological understanding, body and sensory awareness, and skill building in her clinical practice.

Alma completed her master’s degree in social work at Springfield College and earned a master’s in biology from Northeastern University. She is also a licensed teacher.
