"Jess uses a holistic approach to provide anti-oppressive and trauma-informed therapy with warmth and compassion. She strives to create a comfortable and collaborative therapeutic environment that is responsive to the unique challenges and needs of each individual. Jess’s practice is guided by Relational-Cultural Theory (RCT), a framework that inspires healing through growth-fostering relationships, honors the cultural context of each individual and pays attention to how systems of power and privilege inform who we are. Jess incorporates techniques from Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and works with her clients to develop solutions that encourage authenticity, promote balance, and inspire meaningful change in their relationships and life.
