Jody has been a psychotherapist for over 20 years, and has worked in various types of settings including community mental health, hospitals, school-based mental health, and the correctional system. Along with a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Alberta, a BSW from the University of Windsor, and a Masters of Social Work (MSW) from Smith College School for Social Work, she also completed post-graduate training at UMass Amherst. She has been supervising clinicians for over ten years.

Jody works with individuals (children, adolescents, and adults), as well as with couples and families. Her focus is on working with people to promote psychological health and make positive life changes.

She has extensive training in psychodynamic models, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and client-centered approaches; along with short-term and longer term approaches. Helping clients identify their goals, she believes in tailoring the therapeutic approach to the individual client, and to their situation.
