Lisa has been in clinical practice for over 25 years with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. She received a B.A. from Mount Holyoke College, an MSW from The Ohio State University, and a PhD from Boston College. She is currently an Associate Professor at Springfield College in the Graduate School of Social Work.

Lisa utilizes a collaborative approach in identifying current challenges and exploring new paths forward to reach personal goals and well-being. She draws on narrative, existential, cognitive-behavioral, and trauma-informed approaches. Lisa has been trained in multiple evidence-based clinical practices and employs the best strategies to facilitate change. Lisa specializes in family therapy, the LGBTQI+ community, and parenting a child/youth with chronic mental health challenges.
