Mateusz believes that any successful therapy outcome requires a safe, trusting and positive therapeutic relationship between the therapist and the client; it is the goal and desire of Mateusz to provide his client(s) a safe & comfortable space to explore their inner world through Internal Family Systems; one of Mateusz’ goals in a therapy session is to allow the client to experience both internal and external safety.

Mateusz approach to Psychotherapy is grounded in a person-centered approach; Mateusz strives to provide a safe, compassionate and non-judgmental care and will work with you to develop a treatment plan based on your individual and unique needs. Mateusz graduated from Cambridge College with a Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling focusing on Trauma and Substance Abuse. Mateusz received Level II training through the IFS Institute in Internal Family Systems therapy. Mateusz combines the IFS model of psychotherapy through the lens of Polyvagal Theory, which is the the science of our autonomic nervous system.

Mateusz is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with over a decade of experience working with children, adolescents and adults in a variety of settings including community and juvenile justice. Mateusz has experience with a variety of mental health disorders including Mood Disorders, ADHD, General Anxiety, PTSD, and Borderline Personality Disorder. He earned his Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Cambridge College and has extensive experience and training in Internal Family Systems, Polyvagal Theory, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.
