Megan is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) who values the autonomy and dignity of her clients, encouraging a collaborative experience to lead the therapeutic process. She is intentional in setting a non-judgemental and safe space for clients to deepen their understanding of themselves, as well as their relationships, communication, and boundaries.

Megan has worked in various settings within the mental health field since 2015. She has experience working with individuals across the lifespan, within systems, and across modalities, including outpatient, family, and group therapy. Megan’s training is in generalist social work practice with a specialization and passion for working with young children and their caregivers. She enjoys providing support and psychoeducation around infant and early childhood mental health, pre and postpartum care, and parenting and attachment styles.

Megan thoughtfully begins therapy with each client by discussing and creating a treatment plan that focuses on goals for therapy and collaborative termination planning. She approaches therapy with the belief that everyone, from childhood to adulthood, has intrinsic resilience and strengths that can help to guide them through challenges. She uses a combination of therapeutic approaches based on the collaborative treatment plan created in partnership with her clients, often incorporating techniques from Psychoanalysis, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Play and Experiential Therapy. Megan believes that clients are the experts on their own experience and that their voices should spearhead the direction of therapy, while also challenging patterns of maladaptive thoughts and behaviors to support clients in deep growth and healing.
