Miranda is a clinical social worker who has worked in schools, medical settings, residential programs and community-based mental health. She has experience supporting adolescents and adults as they navigate anxiety, depression, extreme states, symptoms related to trauma, and challenges adjusting to life circumstances. 

In her clinical practice, Miranda offers empathy and compassion to create a safe, empowering space in which clients’ stories can be honored. Trained in psychodynamic models and Motivational Interviewing, she utilizes a trauma-informed, attachment-based, recovery-oriented approach to join with clients as they move toward positive change and greater insight. She believes in individuals’ innate resiliency and assists clients in identifying strengths and coping skills and accessing their own inner wisdom. 

 She holds a B.A. in Psychology, Gender Studies and Creative Writing from Hampshire College and a Masters of Social Work (MSW) from Smith College School for Social Work.
