Alex is a clinical social worker who works alongside her clients to foster genuine human connections that can lead to transformative healing. She values the autonomy and dignity of her clients, encouraging a collaborative and individualized experience. Alex creates a safe and nonjudgmental environment through trauma-informed, anti-oppressive, and sex-positive lenses. She approaches her clients with warmth, compassion, humor, and empathy.

Alex balances supporting her clients in exploring the underlying causes of what brings them to therapy with identifying and practicing skills to help them more successfully navigate their current life experience. She works with adolescents and adults encountering multiple issues, such as anxiety, learning disabilities, depression, life transitions, self-esteem challenges, body image issues, identity development, and complex relationship dynamics.

Alex holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Emory University and a Masters of Social Work from Smith College.
