Description
In this relational processing group, participants will consider the impact of widefelt societal stressors on our individual and collective mental health and functioning. Participants will be invited to reflect upon and share their experiences of grief, dread and anxiety within a group setting that aims to foster interpersonal connection and mutual support. We will be processing the implications and impact of topics such as current global events, the political climate in the United States, the COVID-19 pandemic, and the climate crisis, with consideration given to experiences of vicarious trauma and burnout. Participation in this group is not limited by particular viewpoints, creed, political or religious affiliation. The focus will be on the emotional impact related to these events rather than the events themselves.
