Description

Let’s connect around the complexities of raising Autistic children and create a community of caregivers!

These groups are for caregivers of any Autistic child looking for an informed, neuroaffirming, group approach to support. Each session will offer opportunities to share, reflect, and learn together. Topics include navigating daily life, supporting moments of thriving, sustainability / long-term planning, and advocating for your child’s needs and your needs in different settings. We will use resources authored by Autistic folks to explore Autistic experiences taking a disability-justice approach.

These groups will strive to be trauma-aware, anti-racist, and aligned with a neurodiversity paradigm.

Tuesday Group, 12:30-2pm: Parents of Autistic Kids

Wednesday Group, 12:30-2pm: Parents of Autistic Kids with Higher Support Needs

*Both groups may run in person at our Hadley location or remotely depending on interest and accessibility.

These groups will strive to be trauma-aware, anti-racist, and aligned with a neurodiversity paradigm.
