This workshop will guide therapists through the complexities of neurodiversity-affirming practices, helping them innovate to support a broad spectrum of client needs effectively. In addition to introductory material, it focuses on sexuality, gender, and romantic relationships, providing essential tools and insights. This workshop is for therapists either unfamiliar with or seeking to deepen their application of neurodiversity principles in their practice. This workshop provides access to new research materials, practical worksheets for client sessions, and information about future training opportunities. This workshop presents an autism-centered definition of neurodiversity, designed to enhance therapists' understanding and implementation of neurodiversity-affirming practices across a wider range of conditions and neurotypes.

This presentation addressed the standards of care when working with TGNC adults, teens, kids, and families, utilizing the WPATH SOC 8. It included how to best support your client within their gender exploration and gender identity, ways to support family members in supporting their loved one’s gender transition/exploration. Discussing how to perform assessments for writing letters of readiness for clients seeking gender affirming care. Provide psychoeducation & general overview of gender affirming care via medical, social, and legal avenues.

A Holistic Approach to Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome aims to shed some light on a very common and complex endocrine disorder affecting millions of people each year. The presentation describes the Pathophysiology of PCOS , address common myth's and misconception as well as offers adectotes from a spectrum of people's experiences trying to navigate the complexities of the disorder. Additionally, the presentation explores the impact and intersectionalities of this disorder on a person's holistic health, as well as recommendations and resources.

This workshop emphasized the importance of Health at Every Size (HAES) and intuitive eating, providing practical tools for therapists to support clients with eating disorders. The presentation defined key terms, discussed the differences between eating disorders and disordered eating, and highlighted the significance of a weight-neutral approach. Participants learned about collaborating with dietitians, signs that clients may need more support, and how to provide trauma-informed care. The session also covered the impact of weight stigma and the benefits of a weight-inclusive approach to health.
