Description
The Grief and Loss Group is for individuals who have experienced loss and want to connect with others to feel a sense of community, normalize their grief experience, and learn coping strategies to help with their healing journey. As a result of participation in this group, members will:
Understand the Grief Process: Learn about the nature of grief and its various manifestations.
Accept & Express Feelings: Recognize and express the feelings associated with the loss in a supportive space.
Accept the Reality of Loss: Begin to come to terms with the reality of the irreversible loss.
Develop a Support System: Build connections and find mutual support with other members.
Receive Information: Learn about the bereavement process from the facilitator and other members.
