Sarah Chrystler is an LCSW who uses a relational, psychodynamic lens to work with young adults, couples, families, adolescents, and elders, especially those navigating life transitions. Her approach infuses humor, warmth, and collaboration to gain insight that draws on an intersectional, antiracist understanding of the world and our experiences in it. She believes deeply in fat liberation and body liberation. She welcomes clients of diverse identities, backgrounds, and experiences, and is committed to promoting equity and social change both within and outside the therapy room. Her work with couples and expansive partner constellations draws on Gottman theory as well as eclectic influences, and aims to bring a sense of fun to the work.

Sarah has an MSW from Smith College School for Social Work, an MALS from Wesleyan University, and a BA in archaeology and history from Wesleyan. She has experience working in college counseling, school counseling, and film studies.
